Grab your party hat it’s time to celebrate! It’s March, which means two brand new kit releases AND it’s our birthday month! So much to celebrate!! Woohoo!
This month we are featuring the fabulous Let’s Party collection by Echo Park Paper Co. It’s sure to blow you away with its cuteness and versatility! I had so much fun creating with this collection and is perfect for any birthday girl or boy.
Today I want to share with you our layout kit, Let’s Party! It was super fun to create.
Here is a list of supplies I used to create this 2-page layout kit:
- (2) Cupcake Celebration Pattern Paper Echo Park Paper Co.
- (1) 12×12 Element Cardstock Stickers Echo Park Paper Co.
- (25) Pre-Cut Pattern Paper Pieces Echo Park Paper Co.
- (2) Large Silver Rhinestone Stickers
- (3) Medium Silver Rhinestone Stickers
- Enamel Dots Echo Park Paper Co.
- Red Baker’s Twine
I started out by using the Cupcake Pattern Paper as my base pages and then used the fantastic patterns in the collection to build upon. The main focal photo measures 5×5 and the two smaller photo mats measure 2 1/2″ x 2 1/2″.
I also like to use the 3D Foam Squares by Scrapbook Adhesives to adhere some of my stickers with. I like to do this because it adds dimension to my page. If you look closely you can see the difference between the stickers that are popped out and the ones that are flat.
On this scrapbook page I choose the big, bold saying stickers to use for my title. Both the ‘Happy Birthday’ and ‘Celebrate’ stickers work great for this. And I’m totally loving how the enamel dots just pop on this layout! They too add a lot of dimension and fun to a page.
It’s always fun to sprinkle the enamel dots around like you’re telling a story. They are super fun to work with and if you haven’t tried them yet, I highly recommend them. They work great on cards too!
For the second page of my layout, I cut (16) 2 3/4″ x 2 3/4″ squares and arranged them on the page so that they were equally spaced creating a quilt like feel to my layout. This is a great way to highlight many different patterns on one page. The two photo mats featured on this page measure 4×6. Again, I have used the 3D Foam Squares to raise some of the stickers up and some are flat on the page. I also like to add a little bling, after all we are celebrating life! I have added two large silver rhinestone stickers to each side of the large ‘Hooray’ sticker! Another fun embellishment to use on scrapbook pages and cards!
I hope you love this sweet little layout as much as I have had creating it, I am going to add my daughter Oaklee’s 3rd birthday pictures to this layout and I can’t wait!
